4-H Electricity School

Join us for Electricity School on June 5, 2024 at Bailey Park in Camp Point.

Open to all youth, ages 8-18. 4-H Membership is NOT required. Invite a friend! There is no charge to attend, but youth must pre-register by completing an application, and a health form. All forms are due in the Extension office by May 31.

Important Notes:

  • All 4-H members enrolled in Electricity or Electronics are strongly encouraged to attend 4-H Electricity School. Projects completed at Electricity School may not be used as an exhibit at a 4-H Show. 
  • Students enrolled in Level 1, 2, or 3, please bring the following: wire strippers, phillips-head and flat-head screwdriver, and needle nose pliers.
  • When selecting your workshop, levels must be completed in order. First year participants should select Level 1: Extension Cord.
  • A parent or designated adult must check in participants at the Large Pavilion at Bailey Park in Camp Point. Participants must stay in the Pavilion at the end of the program until a parent or a designated adult arrives.

Levels must be completed in order. If this is your son/daughter’s first year, please sign up for Level 1.

Level 5 Electric Car/ GIS Mapping
