Reel in the Fun! Fishing Clinic
Come hang out with the University of Illinois Extension and the IDNR and explore Silver Springs State Park where you will learn the basics of fishing. Youth and adult chaperones will learn safety, fishing tips/tricks, and all about aquatic ecosystems and organisms. You can even participate in the 4-H Hooks Us Together contest during this clinic!
All fishing supplies will be provided. We ask that one adult chaperone stay with the youth attendee. Youth and adult chaperones should dress in layers and protective gear (sunscreen, sunglasses, closed-toe shoes, etc.) and be ready to be outside in the elements.
