
Join us for Electricity School on June 4, 2025 at John Wood Workforce Development Center | 2710 N. 42nd St., Quincy
Open to all youth, ages 8-18. 4-H Membership is NOT required. Invite a friend! There is no charge to attend, but youth must pre-register by completing an application and a health form. All forms are due in the Extension office by May 31.

Important Notes:
- We are in a transition year and we will not be offering extension cords this year- it will be moved to Level 2 next year.
- All 4-H members enrolled in Electricity or Electronics are strongly encouraged to attend 4-H Electricity School. Projects completed at Electricity School may not be used as an exhibit at a 4-H Show.
- Students must take workshops in order.
- If you made an extension cord last year, you’ll be in Level 1 this year.
- If you made a solar car last year, you’ll be in Level 3 this year.
- If you have taken class Circuits/Switches you can sign up for Level 4 &5!
- Students enrolled in Level 1 and 2, please bring a small phillips screwdriver.
- Students enrolled in level 3, please bring the following: wire strippers, phillips-head and flat-head screwdriver, and needle nose pliers.
- A parent or designated adult must check-in and check-out participants at the JWCC Workforce Development Center.
