Celebrate the beauty of autumn with a guided nature walk through Camp Sacajawea’s colorful forest landscape. Led by local Master Naturalists and Illinois Extension Natural Resources Educator Amy Lefringhouse, this free, family-friendly event invites participants to explore native Illinois trees and learn how to identify them in their seasonal splendor.
The walk follows a scenic, less-than-one-mile accessible trail and is suitable for all ages. Expect light hiking on uneven terrain—comfortable shoes are recommended. Check-in begins at the parking lot, and the walk starts promptly at 1 PM. Please note: there are no restrooms available on site.
