Emma Eldridge is a watershed outreach associate working with Illinois Extension's Nutrient Loss Reduction Strategy implementation team. She works in areas that are in the Little Wabash and Embarras watersheds, which are designated by the Illinois NLRS as phosphorus-priority watersheds. Emma coordinates watershed planning activities to reduce phosphorus loss, provides expertise on best management practices to reduce nutrient loss, and conducts outreach on agricultural conservation practices outlined in the Illinois NLRS.
Emma grew up in Saline County and earned a B.A. in Environmental Studies from McKendree University and an M.S. in Forestry from Southern Illinois University Carbondale.
