Jaylynn is a 4-H Youth Development Educator serving Clark, Crawford, and Edgar counties. She started with Illinois EXtension as an intern in 2016 with Coles, Cumberland, Douglas, Moultrie, and Shelby counties. Since then she has been a 4-H Federation Coordinator for Coles County, interim EPC for Cumberland County, and a 4-H Extension Program Coordinator in November 2017. Her experience in managing volunteers, clubs, and members, her assistance with federation, recruitment of new members, growth of the current clubs, and providing school programming created a passion for youth success.

Jaylynn earned her Master of Science in Agriculture, Leadership, Communication, and Education in May of 2022. Her Master's coursework further inspired her passion of youth success to include college and career readiness – helping every youth find their spark that leads to a lifelong adventure in learning and following their dreams.

Her hometown is Greenup where she was able to give back to her community as a program coordinator. Jaylynn’s favorite part about working at Extension is the unlimited possibility to learn. Extension provides phenomenal research in many areas that pertain to our everyday lives. From 4-H to Family Life, there is so much information to keep our community informed.
