Join us for a virtual workshop for youth ages 10-14
Do you ever wonder what makes a black marker black or plants green? Follow this curiosity to explore densities of dyes in different marker brands and discuss the function of pigments in nature.
Date: July 27th
Time: 1:00 - 2:30 p.m.
Where: Anywhere you have internet access, the workshop will be held on Zoom.
Materials will be provided free of charge, with a no-contact pickup from our McLean County Extension Office.
Materials: 2 clear cups, water, 5 coffee filters, 2 pencils, 4 paperclips or binder clips, 1 black Sharpie maker, 1 black dry erase marker, 2 black markers of two different brands, 1 quarter, 1 bunch of fresh spinach
