Farmette in Action: 4-H SPecial INterest Club

Have you ever wondered what goes on at a small farm? Find out when you join the Farmette in Action SPIN Club! Each week, participants will take part in fun, hands-on activities, such as horse grooming, farm photography, creating pumpkin pallets, and giving goats a pedicure! Get up close and personal with horses and goats, and learn skills like barn maintenance and horseshoeing.

Ages: 8-18 (as of 9/1/21)

When: Meets for 8 weeks on Tuesdays, Oct. 26 to Dec. 14, 2021 (UPDATED)

Time: 4:30-6 p.m.

Where: Hampshire, IL (all sessions will take place in a heated facility; more details provided at registration)

Cost: $60 (includes $20* 4-H Enrollment for 2021-22 year & supplies for these sessions) 

  • *The $20 enrollment cost is required only once per 4-H year per youth. If a youth joins multiple clubs, it only needs to be paid once for the 2021-22 4-H year. If already enrolled and paid through another 4-H club this 4-H year, your cost for this program will be $40.
