Turn Your Thoughts into Your Superpower: 4-H Cloverbud Workshop Series
Fun with Focus | Jan. 14 | Naperville
Research has shown that mindfulness techniques can help youth learn to manage stress more effectively and increase their sense of self-worth. Join us for one or more parts of our hands-on workshop series designed for youth ages 5 to 8.
In this session, youth will learn how being mindful of their own thinking can help them to learn to focus on the present moment. Learning to be focused can help youth to achieve their future goals and enjoy their current activities more. Youth will listen to a story about the present moment and then participate in a mindful scavenger hunt. They will also receive materials to continue to practice at home.
