Create a fresh floral arrangement

Learn about the history of May Baskets and about floral design techniques, and then make your own beautiful May Basket to take home. Participants will work with fresh stems of tulips, daffodils, leather leaf, mini carnations, daisy mums, and statice.

 

Who: Adults interested in floral arranging or learning new skills
When: 10 a.m. to noon Friday, April 28
Where: DuPage County Extension office, 1100 E. Warrenville Road, Suite 170, Naperville, IL 60563.

Special note: Participants should bring their own 6- to 7-inch diameter basket to fill and a liner for the basket. Fresh flowers and materials will be provided.
