Curious about canning? Come get some hands-on practice making and processing salsa in a water bath canner under the pavilion at the Brighton Farmers Market in Schneider Park! Celebrate National Farmers Market Week by learning how to make your produce last all summer long! There is no need to register, just head to the farmers market.
If you have a pressure canner dial gauge, bring the lid with you! Lisa Peterson, Nutrition & Wellness Educator will happily test it for you at the farmers market!
