How do you grow food without a garden? Foodscaping is a design concept that intentionally adds edible plant varieties to existing beds of ornamentals. The result is growing food that saves money and is a healthy activity that produces fruits and vegetables to enjoy all season long. The main appeal of foodscapes is that they are valuable and beautiful!

Come to the Boone County Extension office on Tuesday, August 13; we are offering a viewing session of this free summer gardening webinar.  You will get tips on designing and maintaining a foodscaping project by having the right plant in the right place.

Register one week before the program date by calling Judy Hodge, Program Coordinator, at hodg@illinois.edu or 815-544-3710, or click on the Register button above.
