Canning Salsa with Confidence

Learn safe water bath canning techniques in this hands-on workshop! We’ll cover the basics of canning, how to safely adjust salsa recipes, and boost your confidence in preserving at home. You'll make a choice salsa and take home a jar you canned yourself! This class is offered in partnership with the Nokomis Farmers Market!

 

Those under the age of 16 need to be accompanied by an adult.

 

The registration deadline is Friday, Aug. 1. Pre-payment is required - you can pay exact cash or check before the class at the Montgomery County Extension Office in Hillsboro or pay online by credit card.
