ATTENTION: Garlic lovers! Do you know now is the time to plant garlic for a summer harvest?

Getting Started: Garlic Basics

Planting Method: Garlic is grown from individual cloves, not seeds. Each clove becomes a full bulb.

Best Time to Plant: Fall planting (6–8 weeks before the ground freezes) yields larger bulbs. Spring planting is possible, but results in smaller bulbs.
