Would you like to grow your own fresh produce?
Are you new to gardening or an experienced pro? Do you want to learn more about the crops we can grow in our backyards?
Join Horticulture Educator Nancy Kuhajda, and Program Coordinator Holly Froning for Monday webinars all about growing vegetables.
Each one-hour session will cover a group of vegetables with similar growing needs and times and takes you from seed/variety selection through safe handling, harvest, storage and preservation. Recipes will be included too! Sessions will also be recorded so you can watch at any time, even if you can’t make the initial webinar.
For each session, participants will receive 3-4 seed packages, educational handouts, and some recipes, which can be picked up at your local Extension office. Packets can be mailed for an additional fee if requested (fee based on distance.)
Multiple sessions to choose from
Sessions will be held Mondays from 6-7 pm on Zoom from March 16 through May 4. Choose the crop(s) you are interested in and attend as many sessions as you’d like!
