Anyone who loves exploring the outdoors and discovering how nature works will feel right at home at this camp! Campers will step into the role of real adventurers, participating in hands-on exploration, solving challenges, and uncovering the secrets of the forest. From plants and animals to rocks and hidden ecosystems, each day is filled with exciting discoveries, active learning, and plenty of fun in the great outdoors.
Register your child now for summer day camp! Camp runs from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. each day. Children will have fun learning about nature through hands-on activities, games, and nature awareness. Camps fill quickly, and space is limited to 20 per camp. Check back soon for more registration details.
Nature Explorers Camp is a day camp experience for youth ages 7 to 11. Offered through Illinois Extension in partnership with DeKalb County Forest Preserve. This camp is led by 4-H Youth Development professionals and is open to any youth seeking outdoor adventure!
Camp attendance is $150 per camper per week.
