For adults by the Ogle County Master Gardeners
Ready to bring a tiny world of greenery indoors? The Ogle County Master Gardeners have a special workshop where you can create your very own terrarium — a glass container that creates a welcoming indoor environment for plants to thrive!
Join the Master Gardeners to learn how terrariums are assembled and maintained, then get hands-on creating your own tiny green wonder!
THE BEST PART? IT'S FREE! All containers and building materials will be provided. Have a special glass vessel at home? Feel free to bring it along and make your terrarium uniquely yours!
Container inspiration:
A fishbowl
A 1-quart Mason jar
A glass cookie jar
A cleaned-out candle jar with a lid
Just be sure your container is made of clear glass and has enough room for your plants to grow!
Need a thoughtful holiday gift idea? Your handmade terrarium could be the perfect present for a plant-loving friend or family member. Or, better yet, make one just for YOU! Because a little greenery is always a lovely gift to give yourself.
SPACE IS LIMITED! Only 10 participants can join this workshop, so don't wait to reserve your spot! Register by Thursday, November 5.
Grow something wonderful with the Ogle County Master Gardeners! Your little glass garden is waiting!
