2026 Ogle County 4-H Fair schedule

OREGON, Ill. — The 2026 Ogle County 4-H Fair will be held in conjunction with the 173rd Ogle County Fair in Oregon, IL.  The fair will be open to the public from July 29 – August 2.  Visit the 4-H Fair to see local 4-H club members in action with their animals and experience the wide array of displays and presentations they have created for showcase in the exhibit building.

4-H competitions and special events are set as follows:

Wednesday, July 29
12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Beef, Dairy Cattle, Goats, Poultry, Rabbits, Sheep, Swine check-in
12:00 p.m. – 3:00 p.m. Poultry Egg Class check-in
2:00 p.m.                     Cloverbud Judging, Party, & Graduation
4:00 p.m. - 9:00 p.m.  Exhibit Building Open to Public
3:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  4-H Swine Weigh-in
5:00 p.m. - 8:00 p.m.  4-H Beef Weigh-in
5:00 p.m.                     4-H Bucket Calf Clinic

The Ogle County Fairgrounds is located 2 miles west of Oregon, IL, just off Rte. 64 on Limekiln Road.   Daily admission to the fair is $10.00 for individuals 4 years old and up on Wednesday, July 29, through Sunday, August 2, and includes carnival rides. Discounted fair passes are available on the fair website at oglecountyfair.com.
