OREGON, Ill. – Do you have someone on your holiday list that is hard to buy for or has everything? Do you want an easy meal for yourself?  University of Illinois Extension has the solution for you.

Individually proportioned meals prepared and frozen for your convenience. Two sets of the following 5 meals include: chicken and biscuits, lasagna, pulled pork loaded baked potato, smoked pork loin with roasted potatoes, and chicken bacon ranch pasta.

You can also call the Ogle County Extension office at 815-732-2191 and request a paper order form and pay by check. Mail your name, phone number, number of meal sets and payment to: 811 S Clay Street, Mt. Carroll, IL 61053. Make checks payable to Ogle-Carroll Ag Partnership (OCAP).

Meal pickup will be on Monday, Dec. 18 from 1 p.m.-5 p.m. at the Ogle County Farm Bureau, 421 W Pines Rd. in Oregon.

Agriculture in the Classroom is a statewide educational program with lessons offered to kindergarten through eighth grade. Its goal is to help students, teachers, and the public gain greater awareness of the role of agriculture in the economy and society.  This program is offered through the University of Illinois Extension Ogle County in partnership with Ogle County Farm Bureau, Carroll County Farm Bureau, Ogle County Soil & Water, and Carroll County Soil & Water.
