In-person private and commercial pesticide applicator testing scheduled at local Extension offices

Paris, Ill. - Pesticide safety training is critical for all who work with pesticides, none more so than certified applicants and operators. A pesticide use license is required for anyone using Restricted Use pesticides or anyone applying a pesticide (Restricted Use or General Use) in the course of employment.

Illinois Extension offers in-person testing-only sessions for private and commercial applicator licenses. Not sure which license you need? Visit online at go.illinois.edu/PSEPlicense.

These testing sessions will be held Wednesday, February 15, 2023, at the  Edgar County Extension Office, 210 W. Washington St., Paris, at 9:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m., and on Monday, March 20, 2023, at the Clark County Extension Office, 15493 N. IL Hwy 1, Marshall at 9:00 a.m. or 1:00 p.m.

Plan to arrive at least 15 minutes early. You will not be allowed to use your cell phone during testing. Please bring a calculator.

Please phone University of Illinois Extension at 217-465-8585 to register for the Paris location and 217-826-5422 for the Marshall location. Online registration is available and encouraged at go.illinois.edu/ILPSEP.
