4-H and the Yorkville Public Library are teaming up for a fun, interactive, three-day experience!
Ages 5-8 | 10:30 a.m.-noon | $30/youth | Participants will discover basic principles of:
- Static electricity
- Pop rockets
- Wind energy
- Flight
- Migratory patterns
- Animal adaptations
Ages 9-12 | 1:30-3:30 p.m. | $40/youth | Participants will learn while exploring:
- Rockets (build and launch your own!)
- Robotic "bugs"
- Environmental science
- Wind energy
- Water conservation and quality
Registration is required and opens April 30. Registration closes June 7.
For this event, face coverings are required. Distancing, hand cleaning, and other safety measures will be followed.
