There are a number of tasks that can be performed in the fall that will help with next year's gardening season. That's why a panel of Vermilion County Master Gardeners is inviting you to come and hear what experienced gardeners do to put their gardens to bed so they are ready for spring. Prepare Your Garden for Winter will take place on Tuesday, October 17, at 6 p.m. at the Danville Public Library, 319 N Vermilion St., Danville, IL 61832.
The Master Gardeners will discuss everything from reviewing vegetable and perennial flower beds to composting leaves and fall bulbs and protecting pollinators. Bring your questions. This program is free and open to the public.
