About the Program: Join us for a facilitated discussion on the intersection of identity and culture in self-care. Participants will experience three mindfulness activities and learn how to advance self-care both personally and professionally with their clients or students.
Designed for: Case managers, social workers, teachers, caregivers, and social service providers working in demanding roles and who may benefit from overcoming barriers and challenges to practicing self-care.
Instructors: Extension Educators present this workshop: Leilah Siegel, Michele Crawford, and Sonia Lopez.
Mindfulness Activities: This workshop includes three mindfulness activities – mindful coloring, a body scan, and mindful eating.
Cost: There is no cost to participate, all workshop materials will be provided.
