Did you know that everyone lives in a watershed? Now you're asking yourself, what does that mean? What is a watershed? Why should I care?
A watershed provides homes, communities, and businesses fresh drinking water, recreational opportunities, and other vital resources. Water ebbs and flows, rains and pours, trickles and floods...it is the constant, steady background for life in our communities!
We interact with water daily, and by learning about watersheds in Boone County, you will understand the importance of taking care of the water.
Registration is required at the link above by November 5. Call Judy with any questions at 815-544-3710.
