Are you ready to share your talents and put research into action to protect and conserve the prairie state's natural legacy? Our mission is to connect Illinois communities with the natural world. Connecting can consist of managing natural areas, advocating for non-profits, leading tours, offering youth programs, supporting pollinators, and monitoring for invasives. Learn about the environment. Connect with nature. Advocate for your community. Register for the spring Master Naturalist training now!

Classes take place on Mondays from 1-5 pm, March 31 to June 9. There will also be optional Saturday field studies (TBA). Pre-registration is required by 3/16, along with a $250 training fee.

Additional paperwork, including a background check, interview, child protection training, and references, is required to become certified.

Call Program Coordinator Connie Handel at 815-758-8194 or email cahandel@illinois.edu for more information.
