
Calling all Hancock County 4-H members in 5th and 6th grade—this is your chance to build confidence, discover your strengths, and grow as a leader!
Join us for a fun and interactive leadership conference where you'll explore three key components of leadership: public speaking, personality profiles, and teamwork. The day begins with check in from 8:45 to 9:00 AM, followed by engaging sessions designed develop practical skills that will help you lead in 4-H and beyond.
Conference Highlights:
Session I – Taking a Step Towards Powerful Presentations
Learn how to organize and deliver a strong presentation. Practice impromptu speaking in a supportive environment using fun, engaging topics.
Session II – Leaders: Understanding Your Personality Profile
Explore different personality types and discover your own strengths. Work with peers who share your profile to learn how to lead effectively as a team.
Session III – Team Building & Group Process Skills
Tackle group challenges that build communication, leadership, and goal-setting skills. Reflect on your role in a team and connect your experience to real-world leadership.
