Are you planning to show a steer as one of your 4-H projects this year? Are you planning to compete in your county's Rate of Gain Contest or show your steer at the State Fair?

Those wishing to have their steers weighed, tattooed, and nominated for the State Fair by Extension staff are free to attend any of these weigh-in opportunities, though it is recommended that you weigh-in with the county in which you participate in 4-H. Tattooing supplies will be provided. If you have not already tagged your show animal with an EID 840 tag, we will also be able to provide a tag. We encourage those planning to attend to consider getting to the weigh-in location early to keep the process moving efficiently.
