University of Illinois Extension, along with Adams County Farm Bureau, is offering a new Illinois Watershed Stewards program for members of our communities. This program engages participants as stewards of their local watershed by offering information from local scientists,  river-focused leaders, and watershed management professionals. This eight-session education program helps people understand how their water travels from rainfall to potential drinking. From rainfall and runoff to streams, rivers, and potential drinking water sources, participants explore how local land-use decisions affect water quality far beyond their own communities.

Training Location: Adams County Extension Office/Farm Bureau lower level, 330 S 36th Street, Quincy, IL

About the program - the program will consist of eight night classes held weekly on Mondays from 5:30-8pm on the following dates:
February 23, March 2, 9, 16, 23, 30, April 6, 13

Program Fee: $84 - covers all session materials, dinner at each session, and soil test vouchers.
