Embryology in the Classroom Program: Chick Adoption Day

The 4-H Embryology in the Classroom program has chicks to offer for free. The chicks have been hatched by local teachers and students. They are straight run, white leghorn breed. 

Chick adoption will be on March 20 and May 15 at the U of I Extension, Tazewell branch office (1505 Valle Vista Blvd, Pekin) from 5-6 pm. 

While we have a rough estimate of how many chicks will need homes, we cannot guarantee the exact amount available. Final count depends on hatch rates in each classroom and how many chicks will still need homes. You will need to provide your own way to transport your chicks home.
