Tazewell 4-H Show and Jr. Fair

Everyone is invited to enjoy viewing the exhibits, watching the livestock shows, and participating in the family-friendly events at the fair. 

Monday, July 27, 2026

• All Day - 4-H Clover Hunt and Food Stand
• 8 to 9:30 AM Black Sheep Coffee Mobile, near Exhibit Hall
• 9 AM Exhibit interviews begin for ALL general exhibits (exhibitors assigned judging time at check-in for all depts.)
• 10 AM – 1 PM Chalk Art Contest, 4-H Shelter
• 10 AM - 3 PM Family-friendly Kids Activities by Hopedale Wellness Center, Peoria PlayHouse Children’s Museum, Peoria Park District, Peoria Riverfront Museum, Illinois Art Station
• 10 AM Storytime, Exhibit Hall
  • Rec-N-Roll, Near 4-H Shelter and Basketball Courts
• 11 AM All General exhibits must be checked in
• Noon  Horse Show begins, Livestock Review Building
• 1 - 3 PM Face Painting by Zoo Lady, 4-H Shelter
• 1:30 – 3:30 PM Pekin Fire Department Fire Safety, Outside Livestock Review Building
  • Kona Ice Truck
• 5 PM Horse Grand Entry, Livestock Review Building
  • General exhibit displays open to public (or once final interviews are concluded in each building)
• 6 PM Ice Cream Social and Fashion Review in Veterans Memorial Ice Arena
• 7 PM Grand Opening & Junior Fair Royalty Contest in Veterans Memorial Arena

• All Day - 4-H Clover Hunt and Food Stand
• 8 AM Poultry Show, Poultry/Rabbit Barn
• 9 AM K-9 Unit Demonstration, Near Basketball Courts
• 10 AM Storytime, Exhibit Hall
• 10 AM – Noon – Activities Fair, Ice Arena
• 10 AM – 1 PM Rec-N-Roll, Near 4-H Shelter and Basketball Courts
• 1 PM No Cook, No Bake Contest, Exhibit Hall
• 1:30 PM Goat Show in Livestock Review Building
• 2 PM Washington Robotics Demo, Ice Arena
• 4 PM Rocket Launch, Baseball Field behind Livestock Review Building
• 6 PM Livestock Parade & General Awards Presentation (Trophies & State Fair), Livestock Review Building

• 9:30 AM Dairy Show in Livestock Review Building
  • Cat Show in Ice Arena
• 10 AM Kiddie Tractor Pull, 4-H Shelter
• 11 AM Beef Show in Livestock Review Building
  • Bubbles with Kassie, 4-H Shelter
• 11 AM – 3 PM IDNR Conservation Education Trailer
• 1 PM Sheep Show in Livestock Review Building
  • Master Showmanship Contest immediately following Sheep Show
  • Ready Set Ride Bicycle Safety, Basketball Courts
• 2:30 PM Rabbit Show in Poultry/Rabbit Barn
• 3 PM Dog Show in 4-H Shelter
  • Ice Cream Eating Contest, Ice Arena
