Celebration of the Fall Bird Migration Journey | Genoa

Join us for this Free Family Event — outdoor bird‑watching walk, where we’ll spot whoever’s flapping or chirping in the trees. Our leader will drop an educational talk about birds + migration, aka why these tiny sky athletes decide to travel thousands of miles like it’s a casual hobby.

Then we'll go back inside the NREC for even more bird‑themed fun:

-A kids craft that’s basically peak wholesome chaos

-Extra activities for your inner bird nerd

-A visit with the nature center resident animals

-Cozy time in the Little Sprouts library where you can curl up and read a book or two

And the best part?
Nolee, the resident Eurasian Collared Dove, will greet you all with open wings!
Yes, she’s ready to welcome her fans.
