Kaytlin Lehman serves as the Fulton County 4-H Youth Development program coordinator with University of Illinois Extension, bringing strong community ties and a passion for serving others.
A lifelong resident of Lewistown, Kaytlin’s community involvement is deeply rooted. Her professional background includes roles in healthcare, social services, and education. After working as a licensed massage therapist, she joined Illinois Extension as a SNAP-Ed instructor, focusing on Tazewell County audiences. During this time, she earned her Bachelor of Science in Integrative Studies: Leadership and Organization from Southern Illinois University Edwardsville and is currently continuing her education through SIUE’s Master of Public Health (MPH) program.
Kaytlin later expanded her community service work as a Domestic Violence Case Manager with Fulton-Mason Crisis Service and the Fulton County Children’s Advocacy Center. These experiences strengthened her commitment to improving access and equity within the communities she serves.
Prior to transitioning to her current role, Kaytlin served as a SNAP-Ed program coordinator with Illinois Extension, supporting nutrition education and community partnerships across the four-county unit. In her current role with the 4-H Youth Development program, she works to create opportunities for youth to build leadership skills, explore new interests, and grow through hands-on learning experiences. Kaytlin continues to collaborate closely with the Extension Health and Community Wellness team, supporting shared initiatives that promote healthy communities.
Outside of work, Kaytlin co-founded the Cloverbud Cuties 4-H Club in Fulton County and enjoys spending time with her husband and three active boys. The family loves side-by-side (SXS) rides and cheering on their kids in sports. In quieter moments, Kaytlin enjoys a good true crime documentary or book.
