2022 corn and soybean yields by Illinois county

USDA has released estimated Corn Yields by county average for 2022.  Stark County led with the highest average yield per acre(ac) at 240.6 bushels (bu) per acre.  Tazewell County came in 9th in the state at 229.9 bushels per acre.

Local County Corn Yields:

  • Tazewell                      229.9 bu/ac     up 25.1 bu/ac from 2021
  • Peoria                          224.5 bu/ac     up   9.5 bu/ac from 2021
  • Mason                         219.9 bu/ac     up  22.5 bu/ac from 2021
  • Fulton                          212.5 bu/ac     up  19.4 bu/ac from 2021

USDA has released estimated Soybean Yields by county average for 2022.  Piatt County led with the highest average yield per acre at 74.2 bushels per acre.  Tazewell County came in 6th in the state at 71.0 bushels per acre.

Tazewell                      71.0 bu/ac        up  1.6 bu/ac from 2021

Peoria                          64.0 bu/ac       up  5.7 bu/ac from 2021

Mason                         62.6 bu/ac        down 1.3 bu/ac from 2021

Fulton                          62.5 bu/ac       down 1.9 bu/ac from 2021
