
LEWISTOWN, Ill - The Fulton County 4-H Pet Show was held on June 11, at the University of Illinois Extension office in Lewistown. Eleven 4-H members exhibited fourteen pets. Dr. Jaye Marcum served as the judge for Cats, and Debbie Beoletto judged Guinea Pigs, Rabbits, and Small Pets.
Best of Show for Cats went to Trulee Beoletto with her cat, Mozzarella. Other 4-Hers exhibiting cats and receiving blue ratings were Knox Braun, Macie Howe, and Aaliyah Naff.
Best of Show in Guinea Pigs was awarded to Autumn Rittenhouse and her guinea pig, Snickers. Also exhibiting and receiving a blue rating was Rhiannah Roberts.
Best of Show for Rabbits went to Emmitt Buban and his rabbit, Georgia. Also exhibiting rabbits and receiving blue ratings were Jasper Buban, Briley Mercer, Max Mercer, and Rhiannah Roberts.
Best of Show winner in the Small Pets category was Briley Mercer with Stitch, her ball python. Others exhibiting in this category and receiving blue ratings were Grace Bedwell with her painted turtle, and Max Mercer with his agama lizard.
