LEWISTOWN, Ill. - Two Fulton County 4-H members participated in the State 4-H Public Speaking Contest held on June 5 at Richland Community College in Decatur, Illinois. They were selected based on their performance at the County 4-H Public Speaking Contest in May.
Aliyah Janssen of Avon presented a humorous oral interpretation. Elizabeth Reed of Lewistown presented a formal speech. Elizabeth received first place in the formal speech category, senior division, with her speech about the arts in education.
Fulton County 4-H congratulates these young ladies on their excellent work.
