LEWISTOWN, Ill. - The Fulton County 4-H Pet Show was held on June 10, at the University of Illinois Extension office in Lewistown. Ten 4-H members exhibited fourteen pets. Makenna Johnson served as the judge for Cats and Guinea Pigs; Debbie Beoletto judged Rabbits and Small Pets.
Best of Show for Cats went to Madie Howe with her cat, Skittles. Other 4-Hers exhibiting cats and receiving blue ratings were Sara Christy, Macie Howe, and Aaliyah Naff.
Best of Show in Guinea Pigs was awarded to Sara Christy and her guinea pig pair, Holly and Oreo. Also exhibiting and receiving a blue rating was Autumn McCombs.
Best of Show for Rabbits went to Briley Mercer and her rabbit, Nugget. Also exhibiting rabbits and receiving blue ratings were Jasper Buban, Emmitt Buban, and Max Mercer.
Best of Show winner in the Small Pets category was Aaliyah Naff and Re, her quail. Others exhibiting in this category and receiving blue ratings were Skylar Naff with his leopard gecko, Max Mercer with his bearded dragon, and Briley Mercer with her rat.
