This engaging and informative double feature will take place Thursday, April 24th, at 1 p.m. at the Oakwood Public Library (110 E Finley Ave, Oakwood, IL 61858).
“Where to Start: Decluttering Your Home and Finances” with Family Life Educator Emily Harmon will offer practical tips and strategies to clear the chaos and take control of both your living space and finances. Harmon will guide participants through manageable steps to begin organizing their homes and simplifying their finances, creating a sense of calm and clarity.
Next, Rachel Mannen, Nutrition and Wellness Educator, will present “Cooking from Your Cabinet,” a session designed to help participants make the most of pantry staples. Mannon will cover essential ingredients to keep stocked, offer tips on organizing a pantry for ease of access, and share simple meal prep ideas that help save time and reduce food waste.
“This event is all about making life simpler and more manageable,” said Emily Harmon. “We understand how stressful clutter can be, and this session is designed to give you the tools and confidence to create a space that works for you—both physically and financially.”
