RAIN OR SHINE | Saturday, May 20 | 9 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The 2023 sale will feature:

  • Several varieties of tomatoes and peppers
  • More than 150 native plants
  • Nursery-stock perennials
  • Master Gardeners on-hand to answer gardening questions

Payments may be made by cash or credit. Proceeds support the Kendall County Master Gardener program and community projects.  

Located at the Kendall County Extension office, 7775B IL Route 47, Yorkville, about one mile south of Route 71.

  • Tomatoes: big beef hybrid, Brandywine EB LB, beefsteak, Wisconsin EB, golden jubilee, Rutgers VFASt, celebrity hybrid, early girl hybrid, Campbell's 33VFA, Tiny Tim, super sweet 100, yellow pear, Tomatoberry garden, Roma VF, Amish paste
  • Natives: Downy wood mint, Aromatic aster, Black eyed Susans, Butterfly weed, Anise hyssop, Large flowered beardtongue, Meadow blazing star, Royal catchfly, Common ironweed, Prairie blazing star, Rosinweed, Smooth oxeye, and Late figwort

    Grasses: Indian grass, Little blue stem, Big blue stem, Prairie dropseed, and Sideoats gramma

  • Nursery-stock perennials

  • Herbs
