You are invited to join the Regional Food Council for a conversation around local food opportunities available to growers and producers on June 21st at 8:30. We will hear about opportunities to grow your markets including upcoming funding streams for local foods. We will also hear from a panel of farmers and producers that sell to institutions currently to understand how the process has worked for them. 

Opportunities that will be discussed are: 

• Local Foods Purchasing Assistance 
• Local Food to School 
• Grocery Initiative 
• Farm to Food Bank 

At the end of the meeting we invite any interested to join for a networking event to connect our growers and producers to potential partners that would purchase the foods through these and other opportunities. Build networks across our food wheel to create new markets for your foods. Networking will begin at 10:30am.
