4-H Project "Try It" Day
Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024 | 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. | Kendall County Fairgrounds
Explore different 4-H project areas with hands-on learning stations, and create and bring home cool stuff! This event is great for:
- Anyone new to 4-H who wants to explore different project areas
- Current 4-H families who want to try new things
- Families looking for a fun activity for winter break
How it works:
- 9:45-10 a.m. | Check in
- 10 a.m. to noon | Interactive Learning Sessions
- Ages 8+ will do fun, hands-on activities about Animal/Vet Science, STEM, and Visual Arts
- Ages 5-7 also will do fun, age-appropriate activities (Parents are encouraged to join in the fun with this age group.)
- noon to 1 p.m. | Lunch
- Youth participants and their parents/guardians can join us for a pizza lunch
- Plus, get to know 4-H staff and volunteers, ask questions, and learn more about 4-H in DuPage, Kane, or Kendall counties
Ages: 5-14 (as of 9/1/23)
Meets: Thursday, Jan. 4, 2024 | 10 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Location: Kendall County Fairgrounds, Smith 4-H Hall, 10826 IL-71, Yorkville, IL 60560
Cost to participate: $15 per youth participant (includes a pizza lunch for youth and parents/guardians)
Registration opens soon and will be required to participate. Space may be limited. No need to be a 4-H member to participate.
