Empower your students to live healthier, happier lives! This training will give you all the tools you need to implement two hands-on, healthy living 4-H curricula in your youth programs. Trainings will include instruction, lunch for your staff, and 1 copy of each curriculum (Mindful Me, Health Rocks! Beginner, and Health Rocks! Intermediate). Option available to include the 10 different children's books that are part of the Mindful Me lessons.

Mindful Me
Our young people are facing mental health challenges at higher rates than ever before. However, teaching them to infuse mindfulness practices into their lives can give them helpful tools and strategies to cope with life's ups and downs. The 4-H Mindful Me curriculum is a great way to bring these skills to your program! Designed for young people ages 5-8, Mindful Me uses storybooks and hands-on practice to help young people develop emotion regulation, reduce stress, and increase self-awareness.

Health Rocks!
For over 20 years, Health Rocks! has been helping young people make healthier life choices. The interactive lessons and the power of youth/adult partnerships help instill in participants the confidence and communication skills necessary to develop internal strength to resist risky behaviors. Designed for grades 3-10, the wide array of lessons can target specific topics or be used holistically.
