Las reglas estatales de Illinois requieren que mínimo un empleado en su establecimiento de comida obtenga la Certificación de Gerente de Protección de Alimentos.
La Universidad de Illinois Extension provee el curso y el examen para la Certificación de Gerente de Protección de Alimentos, esta certificación se renueva cada 5 años. La Universidad de Illinois Extension utiliza el examen del Registro Nacional de Profesionales de Seguridad Alimentaria, y es aprobado por El Instituto Americano Nacional de Estándares (ANSI por sus siglas en Ingles). Los participantes aprenderán sobre seguridad alimentaria básica, higiene personal, contaminación cruzada y alergenos, tiempo y control de temperatura, y saneamiento y limpieza.
La clase será en las siguientes fechas: julio 29, 30, 31 y agosto 1, de 8 a.m. a 12 p.m. en el Chestnut Family Health Center (702 West Chestnut Street Bloomington, IL 61701). Es obligatorio asistir a todas las clases. Por favor traiga su identificación el día del examen.
El precio del curso es $125. Esto incluye el precio del examen y los materiales de la clase.
Los materiales, el examen, y la interpretación serán en Español.
Illinois regulations require food establishments to have at least one Certified Food Protection Manager (CFPM) on staff.
University of Illinois Extension offers the Food Protection Manager Certification course and examination, which is required every 5 years. University of Illinois Extension uses the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals examination, which is approved by the American National Standards Institute. Participants learn about basic food safety, personal hygiene, cross-contamination and allergens, time and temperature, and cleaning and sanitation.
This class will meet on July 29th, July 30th, July 31st and August 1st, from 8 a.m. - 12 p.m. at the Chestnut Family Health Center (702 West Chestnut Street Bloomington, IL 61701). Participants must attend all classes. Please bring a photo ID on the day of the exam.
There is a program fee of $125 per person. This fee is for the purchase of the examination and class materials.
