Join Fabric Fanatics 4-H Club for two upcoming sessions:
Doll Clothes | February 15 | 9:00 - 11:30 a.m.
Ages: 8-18 (as of 9/1/24) for advanced-beginner sewists or anyone interested in learning to sew simple doll clothes
This project may be a bit challenging for true beginners due to narrow seams and tight turns. This project would be eligible to show at the 4-H Fair. Learn how to use a pattern to make simple elastic waist pants for an 18-inch doll. You also will take home a pattern for a simple circle skirt for your doll so you can practice your new skills at home, too. Bring your doll for a style show!
Cost: $5.00 (plus 4-H annual enrollment of $20 if not already paid for 2024-25 year)
Sleeping Bags for Stuffies | February 15 | 12:30 - 3:00 p.m.
Ages: 8-18 (as of 9/1/24) for beginner sewists or anyone interested in learning how to sew a cozy sleeping bag for their doll or stuffie
This project is ideal for true beginners and may be entered at the 4-H Fair. Learn how to adjust a simple pattern to fit the size of your doll or stuffie. Bring the doll, stuffed animal, or stuffed character to the class. Please do not bring Squishmallows or other extra large dolls or stuffies.
Cost: $5.00 (plus 4-H annual enrollment of $20 if not already paid for 2024-25 year)
