Why practice public speaking?
Public speaking is a life skill that can yield myriad positive benefits. Young people who attend the 4-H Public Speaking Workshop receive detailed, guided instruction to enable them to become better public speakers, with opportunities to practice their skills in a safe, supportive, and uplifting environment with other young learners. Plus, youth who practice their public speaking skills now gain increased comfort and are more likely to experience success when it’s time for school presentations, job and college interviews, and more.
