Local entrepreneurs are invited to join this program geared toward supporting budding entrepreneurs in a low-key conversational fashion. Members of the club will be able to discuss their ideas openly, receive support from area resource agencies like Illinois Extension, Lewistown Chamber of Commerce, the local Small Business Development Center and other economic development groups.
This is a 12-month commitment, and participants are strongly encouraged to attend 9 of the 12 monthly meetings.
The topics discussed are entrepreneurial concerns like
- bank relationships
- insurance
- how to get started on your business idea
Monthly meetings will be held on the second Monday of the month till October 11, 2027.
Each meeting will have a presenter, and attendees will have time to ask questions and share their thoughts on the topic with each other.
Participation is open to all, but priority will be given to Lewistown residents, and then Fulton County residents since the discussions will focus on local needs.
