4-H Cloverbud Academy 2025

Attention, young explorers ages 5 to 7! Embark on a fun and educational adventure with 4-H!
Sign up here to join us on Saturday, February 22 from 9 am to noon at Western Illinois University Quad Cities Campus, Moline, IL.
Engage in hands-on explorations of: 

  1. Nature: Discover the beauty of our natural world and an appreciation for the environment.
  2. Animal Science: Explore the animal kingdom and learn fascinating facts.
  3. Visual Arts: Foster creativity making a unique art project to take home.
  4. Health & Well-being: Move your body with some fun games, and learn to make a healthy snack.
  5. WQPT PBS Kids: Dive into the world of PBS Kids where fun and learning come together!

The cost is $5 per person. Snacks included. Limited to 50 youth, register early so you don't miss this great opportunity!

4-H Shooting Sports

Young people can build their marksmanship skills as a member of our 4-H Shooting Sports program. We provide a supportive environment in which our members can experience hands-on, fun learning experiences. The program instills a love of outdoor sportsmanship while also teaching safe and responsible handling and use of equipment. 

Share your talents with the next generation! 
We are currently looking for additional shooting sports, and Hunting and Outdoor instructors. If you are interested in volunteering or have questions about the program, contact: Coach Bill Peterson @shootyssa@gmail.com or call 309-945-2108.

4-H Shotgun Club, Thursdays at 5 pm, Colona, IL

Meetings are every Thursday at 5 pm at Bi-State Sportsman Association Inc 571 Cleveland Rd, Colona, IL. $50 material fee (covers 6 weeks of classes) and $20 4-H enrollment fee (one-year 4-H enrollment September 1 to August 31). 4-H Archery Club, Fridays, 6:30 pm, Bettendorf, IA or Colona, IL

Meetings are every Friday at 6:30 pm. In the Fall/winter meets at the Davenport Valley Archers Indoor Range, 1298 44th St, Bettendorf, IA. In Spring/Summer meets at the Bi-Sate Sportsman Assoc., 571 Cleveland Rd, Colona, IL. $20 material fee (covers 6 weeks of classes through YSSA) and $20 4-H enrollment fee (one-year 4-H enrollment September 1 to August 31).
