Skip the apps and websites, and come tour this year's Idea Garden demo plots in person! Stop by June 17 during the plant and garden sale or July 15 and Aug. 19, from 8 to 11 a.m.

Join us for one, two or all three summer open houses where the Master Gardeners invite everyone to see inspirational garden ideas up close, not just online. The Idea Garden features unique combinations of flowers, natives, herbs, fruits, and vegetables in creative designs easy to replicate at home. 

This year’s Idea Garden includes a cauliflower pizza garden, the Shady Lady She-Shed, a sensory garden, soil comparisons, winter sown food and flower patches, and more. Plus, plots designed just for Monarchs, guinea pigs, or chickens.

The event will be at the Kane County Master Gardener Idea Garden, on the northwest corner of Illinois Route 38 and Peck Road, at 3480 Lincoln Highway, St. Charles. Visitors may enter from the Route 38 driveway.
