We all know that carrots are good for the eyes, but what other foods promote eye health? Age-related eye diseases are the leading cause of blindness and impaired vision in the United States, but luckily, there are things you can do to lower the risk.

Join Nutrition and Wellness Educator and Registered Dietitian, Jenna Smith, to learn about the common types of eye disorders how nutrition plays a role in eye health and what you can do to protect your eyes.

The class will meet on Thursday, September 12 from 1:30 - 2:30 pm at the Eureka United Methodist Church. Diabetes clinics are informal but informational walk-in programs with a different topic each month designed especially for persons living with diabetes. There is no cost to attend this program and no registration is necessary.
