Elaine graduated with her Master of Science in Education (Educational and Interdisciplinary Studies) from Western Illinois University in 2015 and has a bachelor’s degree in Studio Art from Cal Poly Humboldt (formerly Humboldt State University). She previously worked as an educator in several Quad Cities based cultural institutions including Niabi Zoo, Quad City Botanical Center, and Figge Art Museum. Elaine most recently worked in academic and administrative support for Western Illinois University-Quad Cities. She is excited to bring her expertise in non-traditional learning, the arts, mindfulness, and social emotional learning to her new role.  She is looking most forward to supporting youth in the metro area with excellent program opportunities where they can lead, learn, and serve.
