4-H Members ages 12 and older can join this training. You can make a difference in moments that matter! During this three-hour training you will gain skills that can save a life.
You will learn how to prepare and respond to emergencies with confidence. Following training, participants must pass a written exam to receive their certification for CPR, AED and First Aid through the American Heart Association.
Training includes recognizing life-threatening emergencies like cardiac arrest, high quality CPR, important early use of an AED, ventilations, and relief of a foreign object from airway (choking). You will not only learn how to care for minor injuries like stings, blisters, and scrapes but you will also learn how to care for serious bleeding, broken bones, joint injuries and more.
Class sizes are limited so register today. The cost is $15 per day, payable at the door. Register in advance, class size is limited and registration closes March 3rd.
